Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson on CNN's At This Hour morning show. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events and events during her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the limit on debt for the United States and deliberations by the super-committee. Bolduan was an assignment reporter for general assignments. She has covered stories such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision on Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the government's stimulus plans for 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in the year 2007.
