Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Being initially inspired by the shadows of trees that she saw on grass, she set about exploring a process that did not convey the selected subject as a 2-dimensional representation on canvas. The object becomes a representation that is its own while the canvas is carrying the painterly interpretation of the object, particularly in the case of a living item or something perishable, like people or fruit. Her ephemeral art style is apparent and the only thing that remains of Alexa Meade's works is a photograph. Photography and painting techniques closely synchronized, which results in a flat, two-dimensional space that achieves trompe l'oeil. Only certain elements of the picture, like the hair or eyes, reveal the 3D dimension. Meade will sometimes integrate her painted model into the three-dimensional surroundings around it that allows the model to be a part of their own world. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation is thus broken.
