She's covered sports for several of the biggest publications around the world. She spent almost a decade covering sports for The Washington Post, including football, tennis, and basketball. Nichols spent nine years at ESPN, where she won the network two Emmy Awards. She was also part of the network's Monday Night Football broadcasts as a sideline reporter. She then moved to CNN and Turner Sports. Unguarded the show, which she co-produced and hosted aired each day on CNN International. More than 1 billion people saw it on the air worldwide.
