Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on the 19th of October, 1979. She is an American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and TV presenter. She earned a bachelor's Degree in Communication and Sociology from the University of California. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. She was sponsored by big brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she received of these surfing events was like rocket fuel that fueled her entry into the world of entertainment. Then, she went on to become a filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun was a news anchor for numerous channels. Sun was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. Her 2012 hosting duties included American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. She's the first Asian American person to have appeared as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting skills have earned her fame. Sun has been in a variety of films including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
